A 53 year old male with multiple sclerosis (similar to a quadriplegic) needs assistance getting ready for the day.  He needs help getting showered, dressed, occasional toileting, and eating breakfast.  Will need to be able to move him from a laying to sitting position.  Has an electric lift for all transfers.

Looking for two hours Monday through Friday mornings and would consider adding some weekend days if that is desired.

No caregiving experience required just a compassionate heart and willingness to learn.

Hourly pay is up to $25 per hour.

Location is off of C470 and Ken Caryl.

If interested please call or text Brad at (720) 289-4407.

Organization/Name: Peter & Robin Vint Contact: Peter Vint 281-217-4146 pvint@comcast.net Position Description: Provide respite services for special needs young adult (Rachel) Position Requirements: personal transportation Compensation details for this position: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour depending on experience Start/End Date: TBD Hours: weekends and evenings depending on need and availability Location/Address: Bear Creek Village, Morrison Rd. She attends the Firefly Autism school throughout the year where she has made tremendous strides. Although she is non-verbal, her care givers and teachers would agree that Rachel understands most everything you tell her. She also has a great sense of humor! We are interested in hiring a respite care giver that would be able to take Rachel out into the community on the weekends and possibly one night during the week. We are very flexible with student schedules, having employed many students from CCU, Regis University, Red Rocks Community College and various nursing schools. We offer competitive respite rates. However, we would be interested in transitioning to a local respite service provider if possible. We are located in the Green Mountain area just off Morrison road, just a few miles from the CCU campus.
