Opportunity Description: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society 10th Annual Rocky Mountain Blood Cancer Conference. Position Summary: Assisting Patient & Community Outreach Manager with planning and implementing a 650+ attendee conference including event coordination, marketing of event, coordinating with community partners, adhering to LLS educational program guidelines and day of event coordination. Time Commitment: January - end of May Location: Local chapter office or remote. If remote, must have access to computer, internet, email and phone. Training: LLS orientation and volunteer training pertaining to job duties and responsibilities. Desired Skills: Experience and skills in problem-solving, relationship and network building Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor Strong verbal and written skills Comfortable working with Microsoft Word and Excel, and willingness to learn new software Detail-oriented and organized Salesforce knowledge a plus
