Pastor - Livermore Community Church

Edited: Dec 11, 2018

Livermore Community Church has begun a search for a Pastor to minister to the needs of a nondenominational, Bible-based church; the position will be available in the Fall of 2018. Our church is elder-led, and the Pastor will serve as an elder, sharing administrative and ministerial responsibility and authority with the other elders.

We are located in the foothills of northern Colorado, serving a widespread rural (bedroom) community comprised of a diverse demographic. Many are employed in Fort Collins, or elsewhere along the Front Range, while a large percentage are retired.

An excerpt from our church constitution is included below:

We, a religious assembly, have committed ourselves to maintain in this community a testimony of the historic and fundamental Christian Faith. We recognize ourselves as a part of the Church which Christ established in accordance with Colossians 1:13-18 and Ephesians 4:1-16. We are in fellowship as an independent and nondenominational body and are incorporated under the laws of the State of Colorado.

This Church is set in order under the authority of the Bible. It has called us: to preach the word of God to the mutual edification, instruction and exhortation of one another and other believers (2 Timothy 4:2); to be instrumental of the Holy Spirit in the salvation of souls (Romans 10:14, 15); to help young Christians develop in the spiritual life (Hebrews 10:23-25); to ministry on both home and foreign fields (Acts 1:8). It is to be scripturally independent as to its faith, its government, and in cooperative fellowship with all other churches of like precious faith.

It shall be the purpose of this organization, as stated in the Vision, Mission and Preamble, to establish in its community an independent, nondenominational Christian congregation for worship, to promote the Christian life and activities in the community, to conduce worship services, to pray for one another, and to advance the Kingdom of God by all available means, on fields both home and abroad. (Acts 2:42)
