Entrust- Multiplying Leaders for Multiplying Churches

 

Summary: The president reports to the CEO. The president and CEO work together to lead Entrust toward its vision, to fulfill its mission and strategic plan, and to develop and establish policies and objectives for the organization, in accordance with board directives and the strategic plan. The president is also responsible, along with the CEO, for resources (human, partnerships, finances and training systems) necessary to fulfill the plan.

 

Reports to: CEO

 

Location: Colorado Springs/Headquarters office

 

Compensation: Raises own support

 

SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

 Develop, refine and implement a strategic plan while ensuring budget, staff and priorities are aligned with Entrust's core mission.

 Provide inspirational leadership and direction to Entrust leaders to ensure continued development and management of a professional and efficient organization.

 Establish effective decision-making processes to ensure Entrust achieves its long- and short-term goals and objectives.

 Coach organizational leaders to maintain and improve support for their teams.

 Coordinate and develop member care services to provide optimum conditions for spiritual support, when needed.

 Develop partnerships with like-minded ministries.

 Assist in building a diverse and inclusive board of directors that is highly engaged and willing to secure and leverage resources.

 Cultivate strong and transparent working relationship with the board, ensuring open communication about measurement of financial, programmatic, and impact performance against stated milestones and goals.

 Monitor financial status of the organization through strategic oversight of donor relations and maximizing ongoing partnerships with major donors and foundations.

 Drive staff recruiting efforts.

 Identify opportunities for Entrust to leverage cross-program strengths, taking advantage of new opportunities and/or addressing organizational challenges.

 Represent Entrust at public speaking engagements.

 

OUTCOMES

 Entrust will be known as a major contributor to training pastors and church leaders within the evangelical community.

 Funding for Entrust’s goals through foundations and major donors will be secured each year.

 The number of trained pastors and church leaders worldwide will increase directly through Entrust or indirectly through Entrust’s materials and teamwork.

 Multiple succession options in key areas of the ministry will be in place.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications for this position

 Management and people skills necessary for leading a complex organization.

 Executive and vision-casting experience.

 Mission and cross-cultural experience.

 Knowledge of and experience in Christian education and adult learning styles.

 Marketing and internal/external communication skills and experience.

 Successful experience with a diverse donor group, including securing foundation grants.

 Staff recruiting and development skills and experience.

 Budget development and analysis experience.

 Servant leadership

 

Personal Qualities Desired

 Self-motivated/self-starter.

 Visionary

 Flexible and adaptable to change.

 Aptitude for technology.

 A good team worker.

 

SPIRITUAL QUALITIES DESIRED

 Must be a growing Christian who is actively following Christ and active in a local church, with a heart for the lost and for discipleship.

 Must maintain a consistent devotional life.

 Must be able to bring a spiritual perspective to his/her work as demonstrated in attitude, faithfulness and interpersonal relationships with others.

    JOB DESCRIPTION ACMNP (A Christian Ministry in the National Parks) has been growing Christian leaders through full-time work, worship, and ministry opportunities in the national parks for the last 68 years! Once accepted into ACMNP, our staff connects you with a full-time, seasonal position in the park you were placed. We are also train each team member in leadership development and euipp them for the specific park they were placed in. JOB DUTIES Outside of working approximately 40 hours a week in or near a national park, ACMNP team members are expected to lead 1-3 interdenominational worship services on Sundays with their team. This may include leading worship, sharing a message, and greeting worship attendees. ACMNP team members are also expected to spend time on Saturday nights inviting park visitors to their worship services. Often times, ministry teams also lead bible studies or help with park stewardship initiatives! NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS Applicants first and foremost must love Jesus, the outdoors, and ministry!     Growing Christian leaders through full-time work, worship, and ministry opportunities in the national parks since 1968. Still need an internship for Seminary, Graduate School, or Undergrad? ACMNP could fulfill this requirement while taking you to a majestic setting, allowing you to earn a paycheck, and serve others through worship and relational ministry! *Seminarians will also receive a $1500 scholarship when serving with us. Outside of working approximately 40 hours a week in or near a national park, ACMNP team members are expected to lead approximately 1-3 interdenominational worship services on Sundays with their team. This may include leading worship, sharing a message, and greeting worship attenders. ACMNP team members are also expected to spend time on Saturday nights inviting park visitors to their worship services. Often times, ministry teams lead bible studies or help with park stewardship initiatives! Housing is provided at a minimum cost from the employer. Expect to work a 90 day minimum from May - late August.
