ROLE OVERVIEW and POSITION DESCRIPTION
Ridgeline Community Church is a growing and vibrant church in Castle Rock, Colorado and is looking to add a part time Worship Director to our ministry team. The Worship Director will be a team player who is committed to the gospel. He or she will will partner with Ridgeline to help fulfill the mission of the church by giving leadership to all aspects of the Worship Ministry as we seek to build a community of passionate followers of Jesus Christ. This position is a pastoral one that requires the individual to serve not solely as a musical or performing arts director but also as a shepherd to the people who serve in this ministry. https://ridgelinecc.org/

QUALIFICATIONS and ABILITIES
A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him.
Commitment to the mission, Vision, and philosophy of Ridgeline.
Demonstrated excellence and calling as a worship leader evidenced by enthusiasm in leading worship corporately.
A humble and teachable spirit.
A heart for the spiritual formation of those in the congregation and the worship ministry.
Skilled in vocal and instrumental training and directing.
Skilled in organization, administration, interpersonal relationships, and team leadership.
Skilled in the use of technology in worship (presentation software, lights, sound)
Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ.
Build and serve the necessary teams to carry out the worship areas of Ridgeline.
Plan the corporate worship services of Ridgeline in consultation with the Lead Pastor.
Ensure that all the musical and technical aspects of the service advance the theme for the day.
Oversee song selection, media preparation, sound and lighting enhancements, and coordination of worship team.
Serve as the lead worshiper in all worship services.
Direct all weekly activities and rehearsals necessary to facilitate worship in services.
Provide pastoral care and training for the worship team and AV ministry.
Oversee the worship ministry budget, organization, and volunteers.
